SOLD to Bill!

Hi Folks,

Up for sale is another one of my Leica / B&L StereoZoom microscopes.
This sample puts up a nice image!
This is the HARD TO FIND Bausch & Lomb StereoZoom 5 Microscope.
It has a Zoom range of .8 - 4X which gives a range of 8X to 40 X with 10x eyepieces.( More magnification over the common sz/4microscope!
This unit also has the desireable back illumination stage, and am also including a Leica / B&L Nicholas illuminator which can work BOTH below the stage, and above it for incandescent illumination. This is in addition to the LED ring illuminator.
Definitely an upgrade over the SZ4!
The 10X eyepieces are BRAND NEW as well as the BRAND NEW LED ring light illuminator which I am also including.
(See pics)
These scopes are great for low power inspection of electronics, stamps, coins, insects, mirror surfaces. I used it for the study of fossils, rocks minerals, and meteorites. Also for demonstration during lectures, etc. It was superb for that. And as an aside, the power isn't limited to 30x. With 20x or 30x eyepieces, you can get up to 80 power or 120 power. But generally the zoom range of 8x to 40x is really all you need.
These are fun microscopes to use. And kids love them. They find tons of stuff to examine!! Colleges used these for years because they held up so well and the image quality was great. Back in the day, these were well over $1000 to buy.
