Bought this flat panel to use with my AG Optical FA12 in my backyard. Worked very well. It never spent any time outdoors beyond me taking my flats manually and putting it back inside the house afterwards. I have since sold my AG Optical FA12 so I have no need for it. In excellent condition. It comes with the USB-C to USB-A cable, but you will need to find a 5.5x2.5 DC cable to 5.5x2.1 or other sizes depending on how you want to power this panel.
The GIOTTO 430 flat field generator is recommended to be used with aperture sizes from 392mm to 454mm. It is highly suggested to choose an illuminated flat panel diameter size that exceeds the aperture of the optical tube to avoid any risk of illumination dropping at the edges due to lack of coverage. Choosing a flat panel too small for the aperture can cause poor results of flat calibration since the illumination might not be completely uniform throughout the field of view. There is maximum internal diameter and maximum illuminated diameter. The illuminated diameter is the variable to consider what GIOTTO size would work best for the telescope being used.
