High-end Professional video monitor. Great analytical tool for most modern video signals including DSLR cameras with an HDMI output. (It can even handle some outdated video signals too).  

Up for sale is an "Ikan VX9i professional video monitor" with rechargeable high capacity battery/charger and ac cord.  Like new condition, it still has the protective film on the screen... just peel the film and its new.

This unit is designed for the viewing and analysis of most high end broadcast quality HD video signals.  Do a search for this models manufactured specs.... this thing is a beast and has way too many features to outline here.  But I will point out a few key features that make this the perfect item for the discerning astrophotographer using a DSLR or mirror less DSLR one shot color camera.

The large 9" portable HD screen allows for easier composition and setting of your cameras settings.  No more straining your neck and eyes to see the tiny screen on your DSLR camera.  Also the monitor has a built in zoom feature making focusing images with this monitor much easier than using the DSLR camera's tiny screen. this monitor can also aid in focusing using its "peak meter" for extra sharp images in challenging lighting conditions.

cross hairs and a variety of grid patterns can be displayed on the screen to help aiming and composition of images.

This unit can display histogram information live in real time, and can separate and display the Luminance, Red, Green, and Blue channels individually from your DSLR camera in real time while you are imagining in the field at the push of a button.(look at the example pictures)   Alowing you to see the individual LRGB image signals and adjust your camera to maximize its settings and bring out detail.  I often find myself just visually observing objects in each channel just to see different details I can't see with my eye at the eyepiece.  Making this monitor also good for educational situations showing large groups of people images from your DSLR in real time.

Perfect for a permanent installation or grab and go portable set up.  The included gimbal mount and ac adapter make for a stable permanent observatory setup.  The included high capacity battery and a standard tripod 1/4 x 20 threaded mounts on each of its 4 sides, makes this unit highly portable and easy to set up in the field at any comfortable angle.  The battery works great and is suitable for a night of imaging... perhaps several... I would charge it after each use so I don't know how long the battery can last... but since the battery is external you can buy additional batteries for extended remote use.

This monitor has multiple video inputs AND matching outputs.  Let me explain why this is important...  most consumer video monitors only have video inputs.  Having video outputs allows you to record or broadcast/stream live video downstream of the monitor.  If you need more information than this then this is not the monitor for you, nor am I the person to describe why this is important.
