Up for sale is my custom APM Giant Binocular/Telescope fork mount. I had APM custom install encoders for it so that I could connect a Nexus DSC unit for Push To functionality. Although these fork mounts are made for large binoculars (it can handle up to an APM 150 easily) It was used with my 130mm binoscope. The spacing is over 15" or 385mm as APM quotes it on their web page. Having it custom made with encoders built in at the time cost me more than double to get it here so I am offering it at a substantial discount.
If you want top mounting and a simple AltAZ operation this fork mount fits the bill. It performed quite well for me and at the time was my only solution for using my binoscope easily and manually. I have since purchased an automated mount that can be used in manual mode as well so that is the reason I am moving it on. Otherwise it would not be going anywhere.
It comes with a D type saddle and attaches to a 3/8" bolt to the tripod.
It is in excellent or near mint condition and functions perfectly.
I have the original box and padding for it so shipping is not an issue.
Price is insured and shipped CONUS. I will accept PayPal friends and family payments but no longer accept goods and services payment since this is not a business for me. I will of course accept a check, money order or cash should you chose to pick it up in person discounted accordingly for shipping.
