iOptron AZ Mount Pro for sale.
The mount was recently professionally serviced by iOptron after intermittent tracking irregularities and a squeal during slewing were observed. Following service, the mount was bench tested and the previous axis noise was eliminated.
According to the iOptron service summary, the following work was performed:
• Altitude worm endcap adjustment
• Altitude meshing compensation spring adjustment
• Replacement of two altitude worm bearings
• Replacement of two altitude housing hinge bearings
• Azimuth meshing spring adjustment
• Replacement of two azimuth worm bearings
• Verification of altitude and azimuth drive belts
• WiFi testing and verification
• GPS and magnetic sensor testing and verification
• Factory calibration
The iOptron service email summarizing this work can be provided to the buyer.
The mount has been bench tested following its return from iOptron and is in good cosmetic condition.
Includes:
- One counterweight
- AZ Mount Pro altitude lock lever
- Secondary dovetail saddle
An additional counterweight is available for $50 plus shipping.
Selling because I have moved to a different mount setup.
