Time to find a new home. Great mount for Visual, you can use two scopes simultaneously. Living in the NW under clouds most of the time it didn’t get used more than a couple times each year. So the firmware was updated earlier this, another member told me about a firmware upgrade to correct a guiding issue. Last night I setup my canon camera and tracked the sky for a couple hours. So it tracks well enough ( remember it movement is Alt/Az so one doesn’t do very long exposures with an Alt/Az mount, but over a couple hours it kept the same star grouping centered.
please send any questions.
includes:
- iOptron AZ Pro ( remember it has GPS and built-in rechargeable battery )
- carrying case
- hand controller
- charger and battery power cable
- USB cable
- tripod, I think it is the 2” legs
Incredibly easy to throw in the back of a car and travel to a dark destination. I didn’t bother with the counterweight for last night’s test using a Canon 6D with 25 - 105mm lens.
prefer to sell locally, will ship CONUS.
