Hello,
I acquired this used T-Rex mount recently, but would like to pass it on as I prefer my AYOMaster to this.
It comes with two bases, original base and 3/8-16" for Tripods. I used it with 3/8-16" which is shown installed in the pic.
I also received two slow-motion handles which I did not install. There is a DSC mount and cables but no DSC.
Cosmetically it is not perfect, there are many marks on the body as pictured.
Both slow motion knobs work well.
In Alt motion I find little backlash and it needs to be tuned.
The AZ motion is smooth without any backlash.
The mount is much heavier than it looks and should handle a 5" f/8 refractor easily. Build quality is excellent and movements are super smooth, much smoother than any mount I tried so far.
$1075 shipped in CONUS. ($1000 for local pick up in Southern California)
Price is firm, thank you!
Payment by Zelle/Venmo or Paypal (f/f) preferred.
