Vixex Porta II Mount with Pier Extension Column - $149 shipped - PENDING

This is a Vixen Porta II Alt-Az mount attached to a Sky-Watcher EQ-AL55i Pier Extension Column.  I put this setup together to use on a tripod I had with an M10x1.5 center bolt.  The tripod is from an old Orion SkyView Pro mount, and the Pier Extension Column will fit lots of other Synta-made tripods like the Celestron CG-5, Omni CG-4; Sky-Watcher EQ5, HEQ5, EQ-AL55i; and later Vixen SP and GP mounts.  I replaced the original position control handles with sturdier, flexible ones.  The 3mm thumbscrews that worked there way loose all the time on these new position control handles were replaced by drilling and tapping the holes for 2mm Allen M4 set screws that have never come loose since I installed them.  The Porta II is in excellent operating condition, with the two Allen wrenches for making occasional adjustments underneath the rubber cover.

The price is $149.00 for the Vixen Porta II Mount with SW EQ-AL55i Pier Extension Column.  That includes free shipping in CONUS as well as the PayPal G&S fee.  If you want the tripod as well, I will sell the whole setup for $275.00, with shipping and PayPal G&S fee included.
