Since acquiring an AP1150 GTO-AE, my 11-month old AP1100 GTO-AEL is for sale. This was probably one of the last 1100's made before the 1150's were announced. It would be nice to keep both, but since I only have a single permanent pier in my backyard, a re-vamped backyard patio would be a prerequisite (an observatory structure is not allowed in my HOA). The mount has consistently performed well-giving 0.1"-0.6" guiding depending on conditions. Of course, the low-temp encoders of the AEL were completely unnecessary for a TX-based location, but it was the only new 1100 available at the time (purchased from Tolga but drop-shipped from AP).
The mount has always been kept inside while not imaging for 1-3 nights. It was under the stars for 34 nights during ownership. And during the days between nights, its been covered with a TG365. There are a few small scratches on the DEC top-plate due to installation/removal of a saddle. At the back of the DEC axis under the clutch knob facing the RA axis, there is chipped paint; caused by the first time I assembled the mount with all the cables getting in the way (see pic 2, right side, none of the blemishes affect function). Since then, I stopped separating the axes as I discovered that it is possible for a 74-yr old to lift and transport the entire mount. I recommend the buyer, if not familiar with AP mounts, assemble the mount with a 2nd pair of hands.
Included is the mount, CP4 control box, cables, documentation, counter-weight bar, USB stick with AP software (buyer will likely have to download newer versions) and all the accessories. Original AP boxes for both axes and counter-weight bar. I'm re-using my saddle, counter-weights and power-supply so the buyer will have to supply those.
If the buyer is based in TX, you are welcome to inspect and pick up the mount. I'm willing to drive up to 100 miles too.
BTW, over a yr ago, I sold a new-in-box Paramount MyT in order to get the AP 1100-AEL (via CloudyNights tho it was also posted on AM)
Asking $13,500. Local pickup price will be lowered $250. Payment can be ACH, cleared check, Zelle or PayPal. Shipping and PayPal fees are not included. If not picked up, shipping will occur after funds have cleared.
