Astro-Physics AP1100GTO-AEL EQ Mount w/ Renishaw Encoders + Extras

This beautiful mount was just personally inspected and serviced by Astro-Physics engineers themselves and confirmed as working perfectly. This AP1100GTO has the higher end low temperature renishaw encoders to ensure perfect tracking across the night's sky in the lowest temps possible. 

The mount also includes a number of upgrades/extras:

• CP4 Mount Controller, the most current that the AP1100GTO Supports
• 2x10lb Counterweights
• AP Hand Controller
• Mount Base Pier Adapter
• Custom fit foam shipping boxes from AP

Optional but extra:


Pelican case that can fit the entire mount together in monolithic form. It is enormous and therefore not included due to shipping costs being much higher. It will be ideal for pickup if you want to purchase for $200

If you decide you want to ship in case as a monolith, expect shipping charges at around $250.

The mount is in perfect working order as confirmed by Astro Physics themselves. I sent it in to replace the cable going to the DEC encoder.

It is a used mount, and therefore has your normal scuffs and marks that you would expect from almost any used mount. You can see the scuffs through the plastic wrap, which I have left on direct from AP. Please inspect the images, they are not really that big of a deal. Mount was well maintained and greased yearly. 

AP mounts are as good as mounts possibly get. They are incredible, and AP customer service is unmatched. They are truly one of a kind. Owning an AP mount is honestly such a privilege and its not just a mount, its an experience. The creme of the crop. You will absolutely LOVE it!
