Selling my beloved Astro-Physics Mach1 mount.
Reason: I was lucky enough to receive my new Mach2 and will use that as my primary mount. Keeping peace in the house requires me selling the Mach1.
I am the original owner of the mount. I used it for visual observation as well as for astrophotography. For astrophotography it tracks completely within the high expectations of the brand name. Auto-guiding was very successful with my C11 EdgeHD and 10-minute subs, F10, 2800mm focal length, ZWO-ASI1600. Additionally, I also had great success with unguided exposures of 4 minutes at F5, TEC140 with 700mm focal length, ZWO-ASI1600 consistently and kept/stacked 100% of the subs. It’s worth mentioning that I got small and round stars from the very first session (3 minutes, 700mm ZWO-ASI1600).
The impressive number of well-thought-out details on this mount are legendary! For example: It has true through-the mount-cabling. Large cross section openings through RA and DEC-top with rounded edges (to prevent abrasion of the through-routed cables) enabling easy routing of multiple cables (I had up to one 12V power cable, one network cable and two USB cables installed at the same time).
