I am selling my trusty Astrotrac equatorial tracking platform. This is a complete system - the TT320X tangent arm, the equatorial head, and the all-in-one tripod. Everything wraps up nicely and stores in a shoulder carry-bag. While my primary use was with a DSLR, this system was also able to easily carry my Stellarvue 70mm APO refractor.
Included items:
- The TT320X tangent arm
- The equatorial head
- The Tripod/pier with legs
- AA cell battery power pack
- "Cigarette Lighter" style 12VDC power cord
- Guiding (ST4) cable (yes it has an RA guide port but I never used it)
- Polemaster Adapter for polar alignment using the QHY Polemaster (I no longer have the polar scope, plus I have found the Polemaster easier to use and more accurate on alignment). NOTE: Adapter only, NOT the Polemaster itself!
A complete system like this does not come up for sale very often, so fixing a price is a bit of a challenge. Brand new these complete units went for around $2000. With that in mind I set a price of $950. If you think that is too low, feel free to offer more :)
Shipping costs are negotiable - usually I split the cost with the buyer. Shipping will be from 95762 ZIP code.
