Built in 2000 is this Brand New never used condition Byers S2 mount complete with your choice of tripod and counterweights. Original cost in 2000 was $14k.
I completely went through the mount and re-greased. It's ready for use. This version of the famous S2 line sports a Tanget Dec with adjustable clutches on both axis. RA setting circle tracks on its own clock. Counterweights are 27lbs ea (2 included). This mount will handle 150lb payload. Somewhat portable using the tripod. I have two different height tripods available. 22" tripod for large Newtonian OTA or a 37" for Cass/Refractor OTA. Your choice.
I also have a permanent pier from Byers for additional cost.
Due to its size, I'd prefer a delivery/pickup so I'm offering several possible routes. Reno/Sacramento/Bay area or So. Calif or Scottsdale/Phoenix. I travel these areas and if your on my route, we can arrange delivery.
