CELESTRON- Super Polaris Mount
I have a Celestron - Super Polaris mount but I am not too sure of its year of manufacture or other information about it.
It has Slow Motion Control knobs and DC Servo/Stepper Motors w/gears on both RA & DEC Axises.
The RA Axis, also has a plastic cover (not installed in photos). No cover for the Dec Drive Motor or Gear (not critical to operating).
I've Never used this mount (as it was going to be used for a future telescope project I abandoned) - bought at RTMC Conference 4-5 years ago from a well known and reputable source.
Has No Hand Controller, Power Supply, or Coiled Cables as the Super Polaris Mounts usually come with.
Does have a bubble level built in and will come with the counterweight bar and one BRAND NEW ~15 lb. weight.
This mount comes with a Polar Alignment sight tube (built in) - but the optional glass eyepiece/reticle is not installed.
This GEM curently sits on what I believe to be a VIXEN (Grey/White) field tripod with eyepiece tray and rubber feet.
See photos. Tripod height range is from approx. 30" to 60" tall. I can sell this mount with or without the tripod. Your choice.
Buyer pays all shipping & packaging charges. If you have any questions or want to see more specific details in photos, just ask.
All items are USED and have minor cosmetic flaws (and dust). There is NO gaurantee that Motors operate on GEM and I have not run them in over 5 years. Just tested when purchased. Thanks for understanding these details.
If I sell this mount separately I will want somewhere around $250.00 for it. With the Tripod , I would need $500.00 FIRM !
