The sale is for a Celestron CGX-L German equatorial mount and its tripod. The equipment is about two years old, but has seen very little use. When not used, it has been kept in a climate/humidity controlled garage under a Telegizmo cover.
The mount is in perfect working condition. It is also in mint condition cosmetically. There are minor blemishes on the counterweights (seen in pictures), but these obviously do not affect the performance. It is rated to carry up to 70 lb of equipment. The tripod is also in perfect working condition. There are minor abrasions to one of the legs of the tripod that I tried to capture with the pictures, but they were too faint to photograph.
Included in the sale is the mount and the tripod, which I will ship in its original boxes/packing. The telescope and the wheely bar are not included.
New, this combo would sell for over $4600, but I'm selling it cheap so that I can upgrade to a system that is a bit more portable.
