iOptron CEM25P Mount & Tripod

The solid and stable CEM25P mount carries a payload up to 27 lbs (12.3 kg).  The beefy tripod with 2-inch stainless steel legs braced with an eyepiece tray keeps the rig steady.  The mount incorporates the iOptron GOTONOVA technology and includes a hand controller for direct selection from a library of stars, planets, and deep sky objects for visual astronomy.  The mount can be controlled for astrophotography through a peripheral laptop or camera controller system such as the ZWO ASIAir.  Polar alignment can be achieved directly with a visual system through the center of the mount or under computer control.  The optical tube is mounted with a vixen-style saddle.  The mount weighs 10.4 lbs (4.7 kg) and the tripod 17.6 lbs (8 kg).  The system includes the mount, hand controller, AC adapter power pack, counterweight bar, 10 lb (4.5 kg) counterweight, and cable connectors, all contained in an aluminum hard-shell case.  The tripod and an extra 4.4 lb (2 kg) counterweight are included in a hefty tripod case.
