iOption SkyGuider Pro

The iOptronSkyGuider Pro is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. It featuresimproved precision, silent tracking, an integrated rechargeable power source,ST-4 guiding port, and camera trigger port. The improved precision polar scoperetains an elegantly engraved reticle and now offers modifiable illuminationwith various levels of brightness. Accurate polar alignment is a snap withiOptron's iOS app. Includes a DEC mounting bracket for balancing heavy cameras,lenses, or both. You can even mount a light telescope!

The iOptronSkyGuider™ Pro has four tracking rates: 1X or sidereal, 1/2X for combined skyand landscape, solar, and lunar. These tracking rates are suitable for thenorthern as well as the southern hemisphere. In addition, iOptron has added aquick slew mode with both forward and reverse for speedy image reframingwithout upsetting the position of the camera.

iOptron has improvedthe SkyGuider Pro's detachable alt-azimuth base, which has a precision bubblelevel, altitude degree markings, and a built-in post for azimuth control. TheSkyGuider Pro head can also be mounted, sans base, directly to all standard photographictripods that have 1/4" or 3/8" threads.

Thisattractive and rock-solid Vixen-style base from William Optics is an idealupgrade to the iOptron SkyGuider Pro tracking mount. Precisely and 100%CNC manufactured, this base improves the mount stability and facilitatesadjustment and control of the mount position and tracking. The look and feel ofthis base makes it an ideal match for the William Optics RedCat 51 opticaltube, but it works with any small telescope with a Vixen mounting rail. Thisbase is mechanically optimized for adustments for observing at locations from32 degrees to 59 degrees latitude.

The William OpticsiOption Skyguider Pro Dec Adapter and Vixen style clamp are a combination oftwo separate William Optics parts that provide the ability to mount anythingwith a Vixen style mounting rail with manual declination positioning.

iOption Counterwieght

The iOptron Counterweight weighs 3 pounds (1.35kg) and while it was designed for theSkyTracker Pro, this counterweight can be used with a variety of iOptronmounts. It can be moved and locked in place on your mount's counterweight shaftfor optimal telescope balance. Includes a large convenient locking knob.
