This is one of the original Celestron-branded Losmandy G11 mounts. It's in good condition, highly usable. Losmandy mounts are known for precision machining and construction. I bought it used probably 8 years ago, and it came with the original non-GoTo control panel and hand controller, so I got very good at star hopping. It obviously had been sitting for a while so did a mild overhaul, regreased the bearings, replaced the clutch pads, adjusted backlash, etc. I've also done a bunch of upgrades over the years, not the least of which is the Gemini 2 upgrade. It's a great mount but I'm no longer using it for visual, so it's time to let it go.
Package includes:
G11 mount head with no-tools-required knobs, upgraded stepper motors (part of Gemini 2)
Tripod with separate legs that attach to a central pier. One of the "stub" legs on the pier is slightly dented but there's no impact on attaching the legs.
Three counterweights: Losmandy 7 and 11 lb., and an unbranded 21 lb.
D- and V-series saddle plate
Losmandy illuminated polar alignment scope (new battery)
Gemini 2 upgrade with control panel and hand controller
Motor connector cables and 30' power cable (cig lighter plug)
I will include the original controller and motors, and D-style (only) saddle plate if the buyer wants them.
CONUS sale only. This is a heavy setup so I'd much rather do a local sale, and I'm willing to drive up to 100 miles from Naples, FL to meet for an exchange. Payment via PayPal and I will cover fees. Cash gets a $50 discount.
