By “core mount” I mean the only electronics are the original motors, so the mount is ready for your Gemini upgrade or just use the mount visually by pushing it around. No “Digital Drive Box”, no power supply, no cables, no hand controller, these would be replaced by your Gemini system. No polar scope, you’ll likely use a Polestar or some such. No RA extension. Has been in dry storage for years so likely will require some re-lubing and such.
I also have a G11 in the same condition in another ad.
Located in Chico, CA, prefer local pickup or I can meet you within a one hundred mile radius. I get down to the Bay Area about twice a month so a meetup can be arranged there for a seriously interested party.
And no, I won't ship this...too large, too heavy and therefore too expensive to ship even a short distance not to mention the headache of packing it all up. And no, having a shipper pack it makes it even more expensive.
Cash preferred on inspection and pickup unless you have something astro of interest to me for personal use or resale towards a full or partial trade.
