FOR SALE: A Losmandy G8 equatorial mount with tripod and Losmandy Model 492 Digital Drive System. The components are in brand new condition. This was purchased in 2005 and was stored, apparently never used by the owner due to declining health. Includes the hand controller with cable, motor cables and power cable with “cigarette lighter” plug for connecting to an external battery.

I have tested the GM8 head and Model 492 controller and all work as specified. The unit draws 300mA at 12 volts DC while tracking. The motors sound good when slewing at high rate. The white paper labels are sales reference numbers and will be removed when sold. Questions, concerns or detailed photo requests are welcome.
