If you need a very heavy duty mount and are not concerned with go to, this mount is it. A very stable and accurate mount that I have taken many images with. Search for my web page for more info and images Jim's Astrophotography Site. $5000.00 or reasonable offer. Prefer local pickup but will ship at buyers expense including packing. Escrow purchase OK at buyers expense. Registered Astromart users in the US and Canada only please. No tripod included but a tripod or pier adapter is included. Of course telescopes in picture NOT included.
Specifications
All machined mountings made from stainless steel and black anodized aluminum bar stock.
Equatorial Mount Head Mass is 84 lbs. but can be quickly disassembled into two components of 42 lbs. each; and no tools are necessary!
Rated payload capacity of 150 lbs.
Right Ascension Worm Gear is 9.000" Diameter, 360 tooth, of 7075 Aluminum, with Heat Treated and Precision Ground Stainless Steel Worm, Dual
Supported by Ball Bearings assuring +/-5 Arc Second Tracking.
Average Periodic Error as Reported by my SBIG ST-V as low as .5 arc seconds under excellent conditions.
