Orion Sirius EQG + Extras

For sale is my Orion Sirius EQ-G computerized goto mount. Price with shipping to CONUS is $850. Will sell for $775 with pickup in northern NJ. Seller accepts PayPal (no fee), cleared checks and money orders. Contact seller for more pictures.

The mount head and hand controller were warranty replacements received new in November 2010 and have been used about a dozen times since then. All other components were purchased in June of 2009 and show some cosmetic wear, but remain fully functional.

I used my original mount with a 28.5 pound payload, and within a year I noticed some pulsation in the RA motor, so I sent it back for warranty service. Orion installed a new motor, but noted nothing wrong during their inspection. About 5 months afterward the problem returned. I switched to a lighter 12.5 pound payload, but no change. Orion replaced the mount head following a second shipment back to the factory for warranty service. The replacement mount head works perfectly with the lighter payload, but I am eager to return to my bigger setup and needed to purchase an Atlas to support my equipment.

The tripod legs have Velcro attached near the top of each. Velcro has also been attached to the back of the hand controller and the sides of the mount head.
