Serial #1 of Software Bisque's original GT-1100 mount is for sale.
This is the first production GT-1100 mount made; there were a total of
ten like it. Later, these mounts were converted to "B model" mounts
by replacing the original gearing with Byers gears; subsequent mounts
were all so equipped. This mount, serial #1 of the original model,
was the fifth such mount converted to GT-1100B.
The mount is being sold complete with all original hardware and software
(including manuals). The CDs are a hand-labelled CD-R preproduction ver-
sion of TheSky version 5 level IV with GT-1100 support.
This mount has been kept boxed and sealed since it was decommissioned
several years ago; it has seen probably less than 100 hours of use.
Given its history, this mount is a collectors' item. However, it is in
full working order and could be used in your own observatory setup. The
included version of TheSky5 is upgradeable to the latest version 5 soft-
ware by download from Software Bisque's web site.
I am accepting offers beginning at $6,000 for this historical item; this
