I am the original own, it is six years old. This is a workhorse mount, it works great. Includes everything that came with the mount including two counterweights and hand control. No issues with the mount. New, these are $2250. I replaced the original metal tripod with a Berlebach Uni 18 wooden tripod. This works great when using longer refractor telescopes, the mount can be raised quite high and it is really steady. These cost $690 from Germany, plus shipping. The cons are in the photos. The counterweights had some paint that came off, so I repainted them; they came out fine. The tripod has one foot that a counterweight dropped on, so it looks kind of ugly but works fine. The wood has wear and tear, but is still very solid. This is a great mount for someone who has a longer refractor and can overlook some cosmetics.

New, this would cost near $3k. I am asking $1600 which includes the first $200 for shipping, but buyer would need to cover the rest (three boxes, I figure around $400 total). Please cove PayPal fees. I a pickup could be arranged, that would be great.
