Takahashi EM-400 Temma 2 Equatorial Mount with Metal Tripod

Takahashi EM-400 German Equatorial Mount, Temma 2 “Goto” control system, in extremely nice condition.

Includes everything shown in photographs, including mounts for Tak TOA-150 telescope (which was, alas, stolen from my storage unit!).
Built in illuminated polar scope for alignment. Requires a computer and cable (not included) for GoTo functionality. High speed slewing is at 500X sidereal rate.

This mount has had very little use - works perfectly, with extremely quiet operation, and is in excellent cosmetic shape, with only a few nicks in the paint.
This is a remarkably robust, solid mount, currently selling for $9150. It comes apart easily into manageable pieces.
Also included is the Takahashi TMT0002 Telescoping metal tripod, currently selling for over $2300.

Altogether approximately $12,500 of replacement value, selling for $4500 plus shipping, professional packaging, and Paypal charges. Can be picked up in the San Francisco Bay Area, of course, without incurring these additional charges.
