I’ve been imaging from HCRO for just over two years now with widefield refractors, and it’s been a wonderful experience. Greg, the owner lives on site and provides world class service. There is a waiting list there, so this is a great opportunity for you to obtain a dream setup at a fair price within a closed community.
I recently set this rig up but have not really had much of an opportunity to use it. As I await the monsoon to clear out, I have been faced with some unexpected life circumstances and need to take a step back from Astro and focus on family. I have been a primary care giver since January and between that and my work, I just don’t have the energy for the hobby. I need to simplify my life and focus on what matters most. I hope to see you all in the future, but until then… my hope is that someone out there is able to enjoy this amazing setup.

If you wanted to assemble this kit new today you would have around $52,000 into it plus the expense of deploying it remotely. This one is turn-key, installed at the premier imaging site in North America, and is ready to deliver results. The mount, imaging camera and pegasus are all brand new, installed just two months ago. This is an extremely unique kit with new components, at an amazing location. While I have made the decision to sell, I’m not in a rush to close the deal and willing to wait for the right buyer that I feel comfortable with. All the hard work is done, you just need to plug in your PC and get to work.
