                                                         Zeiss-T parallactic EQ/AZ mount.

I’m selling this Zeiss T equatorial mount for smaller Zeiss telescopes (C63/840 Telementor, AS80/840 and 100/100 plus APQ100640 and 100/1000). Also suitable for other equivalent telescopes up to a weight of max. 8kg (using for instance the AP SB0800 dovetail).

Note that the Zeiss T mount head is designed to fit on top of a spike / spigot (2 cm diameter & height 7 cm) as found on 'native' Zeiss tripods like the 2V, 2VS, and 3VS plus the Zeiss metal Pier; It is of course also possible to ATM a suitable tripod with a spike of the Zeiss spec.

I currently have a suitable Zeiss 2V tripod up for sale in another add here at AstroMart (Classified No.:541692).

Specs.:

Can be used as Parallactic GEM and AltAz (polar height set to 0dg)
     Polar adjustment 0-90dg
     Altitude (DEC) circle: 4x 0-90dg
Horizontal (HOUR) circle: 0-24h, scale 4m, plus Azimuth: 0-360dg, scale 1dg
Weight of T mount: 6kg;  Carrying capacity: 8kg
     Control rods: lock and slo-mo knobs in DEC/Alt (7.5dg) and HA/Az (1dg)
Counter weight; 2.5kg (on DEC axis)
Dovetail rail for: Standard Zeiss or AstroPhysics AP SB0800.

Condition:

This classic CZJ Zeiss T-mount is overall in very good condition: mechanics, control rods, dovetail clamp, knobs etc. -- all works perfectly and are almost as new cosmetically with a few small paint marks from normal usage.

OBS: There is, however, a couple of deeper scuffs on the upper / DEC housing (see pictures), which -- although they have absolutely NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER on the proper working of the mount, unfortunately do detract a bit from the otherwise perfect aesthetic experience of enjoying the looks of the mount (if you know where to look). I think that with some repair skill the perfect original looks can be restored, if the marks bother you.

Price:
I’m asking $275 (~Eur275) for this overall well kept Zeiss T mount.
Note that this price is  discounted from $350 due to the marks on the DEC housing (cf. pics).

Payment by PayPal (+4%), bank transfer or cash (pick up).
The mount will be securely double-box packed.
Shipping world wide.

Seller covers secure packing plus half (up to $78) of the shipping cost.
Buyer pays the tripod price plus remaining shipping and optionally PayPal fee.

Further info on request.
