I thought i was going to keep one of these but something better came up. So i have to sell to raise funds.
These are really some very special telescopes!! very heavy too! The 54mm is 8kg and the 80mm is 25kg!!
the 54mm is complete. See for more pictures my other add.
the 80mm misses, as you can see on the pictures, a knob on the saddle. Not difficult though to make a replica knob.
Optics on both refractors are very good.
the 80mm came with a brass Kosmos focuser from about 1930. the telescope is much older. It looks like it though that the focusser is original?
Magnificent significant antique telescopes!!! everything works well!!
I have five original eyepieces with the 80mm and one with the 54mm.
the finder of the 80mm has it's original cross hair eyepiece.
Big chance to buy a significant piece of history!!
I'd be interested in trades too!! Any astro stuff as long as it is quality stuff.
