Celestron 9.25" EdgeHD OTA and accessories. This scope is in exceptional condition and has served me well, but I decided that I needed more aperture and bought an 11" EdgeHD, so it must go. Optics are pristine with the exception of a few dust specks. OTA was HyperTuned by Ed Thomas of Deep Space Products last year and I've dressed it up with some great add-ons that make observing with this scope a true joy, including a wonderful FeatherTouch 2" Crayford. The stock focuser does exhibit some image shift, which I have a low tolerance for, and the Crayford completely eliminates the issue.
I'd like to sell this as a complete package rather than split things up. This is a turn-key OTA. Just mount it up on your Losmandy saddle and go. Here's what's included:
* DSP HyperTuned Celestron 9.25" EdgeHD OTA ($2300 new plus $250 for Hypertune service - receipt included)
* Deep Space Products TEMP-est active cooling fans for OTA - installed (original vent covers included) ($165)
* ADM Accessories Losmandy "D" Series Dovetail Bar ($100 shipped)
* Starlight Instruments FeatherTouch CS-FTF2008BCR 2" low profile dual-speed rotatable lockable Crayford focuser with 0.8" drawtube and A20-223 2" adapter for 9.25" Edge/C11/C14 ($400 for combo)
* TELRAD base installed on OTA (TELRAD not included)
* AstroZap 9.25" flexible dew shield ($40 new)
* Pelican Storm iM2975 foam-padded hard case only 2 months old. Used for one road trip. Waterproof, dustproof, wheeled with retractable travel handle. Foam plucked for C11 but the C9.25 fits fine with a little room on each end. Will include plucked chunks of foam for retrofitting if you so desire. ($235 new)
* Original Celestron 2" star diagonal
* Original Celestron 9x30 finderscope and mounting bracket
* Original 3.25" visual back
* Original 1.25" Visual back adapter
* Original instruction booklet
All together these items would total $3490. Price includes Paypal fee. Buyer to pay actual ground shipping charges from ZIP 85044 (Phoenix, AZ). OTA and accessories will ship in original packaging. Pelican case will ship in separate box. As I mentioned I am not interested in splitting this up at the present time. Please PM me with any questions. Thanks!
