This is a 1986 model of the Celestron Comet Catcher, a 5.5" F 3.64 (500mm Focal Length). It has a black tube. I have found this much easier to collimate than the old orange tubed models. Has sharp, clean optics. Some small scratches and one small dent on the tube that does not affect performance. I can include a dovetail base for Vixen finders OR a Celestron Star Pointer on a stalk. Has the 36.4mm Vixen style sliding focuser with a 1.25" eyepiece holder. With objective and focuser caps. $255 plus shipping. Paypal please add 3%. Money order and cashier's checks also accepted.
