Celestron NexStar 8 GPS Telescope

Used Celestron Nexstar 8 GPS Telescope in very good condition. The Nexstar 8 GPS is an 8" (f/10) Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (200mm diameter primary mirror, 2000mm focal length) with a carbon fiber optical tube on a computerized Go-To Alt/Az fork mount. Celestron built Nexstar 8 GPS telescopes in the U.S. before the current CPC-800 models.

I purchased this telescope new from Astronomics in Norman, OK in 2003 based on the excellent review by Phil Harrington, Going Global: No matter where you go, the Celestron NexStar 8 GPS finds its way to the stars (Astronomy Magazine, January 2003). This telescope has been used a few dozen times, is clean and well cared for, and has been stored in the house and covered or kept in the padded case when not in use.
