You will need to get a battery if you don't already have one to power it. I'm keeping mine.
Optics are great. It's been a good telescope for me but I got a 12.5-in Obsession clone. I will miss the tracking when I go out with my kids but I have too much telescope equipment.
$900. This was a $2,500-$3000 telescope new back when it was still available (see photo)
Options you can add are as follows
- feather touch focuser $220. Otherwise I will reinstall the stock focuser though it has the Peterson upgrade. I highly recommend you take the feather touch focuser.
