Lovely scope. I bought it for astrophotography but ended up falling out of the hobby. Now purely visual and caught aperture fever - looking to sell this to save up for a C11.
This scope is clearly a 90s/2000s era model, but it’s held up remarkably well. Corrector has a nice purple hue and image brightness seems on par with what you’d expect. This particular C8 also somehow has very little image shift that I’ve observed, even at planetary magnification.

- Scope w/ Vixen style plate
- 2” visual back (I tossed that cheap 1.25” piece of crap they ship with the scopes)
- Telrad mounting base on side, standard finder shoe on top
- Wide grip on focus knob for fine focus
- Bob’s knobs style collimation screws
- Celestron dew shield
- Tri bahtinov mask for collimation
