Downsizing my collection of scopes and, sadly, non-phone cameras, and therefore selling my pristine Questar 700 telescope/telephoto lens. Gives you better imaging, and about the same viewing as the Q 3.5 scope, at about half the price!
Comes with caps, but no case (one less thing to save in your garage, am I right?). S/N 10169 is pre-broadband coatings, but you would never know looking through these pristine lenses! Used carefully and sparingly. Optics are completely clear, with no fog or film – including the two interior lenses!
Focus mechanism is very smooth, yet stays when you reach focus. Questar lens cap screws on smoothly, as do any T-2 accessories. Imaging is via the original T-2 male connector, which has also made it very easy to add a Baader T-2 to 1 ¼ inch eyepiece holder, as shown in the photos! Connects to tripod (or, in my case, to a parallelogram mount for relaxed viewing!) with standard ¼ in 20 TPI threaded shoe.
