I bought this planning on using it for my Dob and old celestron Tripod. Ended up going a different route. I did put a rubber non slip topping on the bars the dob feet rested on. Worked really well holding the feet securely but the mount lifted the dob higher than I wanted to go. Actually wanted to lower the dob before mounting it.
Used a few times.
Tires easily have another 10000 miles left on them.
I also drilled the bolt holes out to the next size over the bolts. I could not get those
holes to line up well enough to get the bolt through easily. Now it is snug but slides
through well. Much easier to assemble and disassemble.
Can ship but will have to be broken down and packed. Prefer local pickup if possible but
if the buyer covers the shipping I will do my best at packing it up.
