Unfortunately I have not been using my beloved Mak nearly enough, so it is time to move it to another owner.
It was sent to Roland for full servicing a couple of years ago, where it underwent complete cleaning, re-felting, repainting, optical inspection, re-coating of its secondary, collimation and testing, bringing it to as-new mint condition.
It is currently installed at the HCRO observatory in New Mexico. I'm attaching a current photo showing it in the observatory on a 1100GTO-AEL, alongside my 110GTX and PrimaLuce computer.
Although I am open to shipping it, I would prefer to sell it to someone at HCRO. I am also open to discussing a package including the mount, camera/focuser/rotator/etc, computer and pier if there is interest in the entire setup.
I'm asking $42k, which is my break-even cost including the substantial Astro-Physics restoration.
The original fitted case is also included. Detailed photos, Astro-Physics service documentation and additional history are available on request.
