Vintage Celestron C14 with Orange Tube (serial #719) with original fork mount, field tripod and equatorial wedge. All in mint condition. $2000 + shipping cost (pick up preferred). This is a complete telescope including:
C14 14” catadioptric Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope OTA, F.L. 3910mm (f/11). Very clean optics.
- 10x40 finderscope with crosshairs
- 2” diagonal back
- 1.25” visual back
- Fork mount with R.A. and DEC motors (2 slewing speeds) and R.A. drive.
- Control paddle (rebuilt as the original is lost)
- OTA has 2 counterweight bars. 4 counterweights included.
- Bracket to mount a camera piggyback on OTA (1/4" x 20 threads)
- Original case with foam pads (some corrosion on case hardware)
- Power cord
Accessories:
- Celestron 2” eyepieces: 60mm Kellner, 50mm Plössl, 32mm Erfle
- Celestron 2X 1.25” Barlow
- LPR light pollution filter, mounts on back of OTA (not threaded for 2” eyepieces)
