Planewave 17" CDK Dall-Kirkham in excellent condition-still in the shipping crate. This scope was bought as best I can determine in 2014 but only set up on a portable pier a few times. The rest of it's life was spent inside a home mounted like a trophy in a living room with the covers in place. The idea was to some day build an observatory and mount it there but unfortunately that never came to fruition.
I believe it has the focuser and rotator attachment but since I'm not familiar with it I can not guarantee it. I can represent the mirrors and tube assemble are in excellent condition. Whatever I can find that goes with it originally will if it can be located (this is an estate sale).
New, something similar costs around $26,000+. Asking $19,999.00. If you pick up I'll reduce the price to $18,9990. Shipping this won't be easy or quick but it is still in the original crate with the 2x4 padded supports so if it has to be done it can be-but it won't be cheap. Pick definitely preferred. The scope is located in Tulsa, OK.
Of course, the price does not include shipping costs or Paypal fees.
I'm selling this on behalf of the estate of a friend who passed away suddenly, leaving behind 25 years of high-end equipment. I've done my best to describe it accurately and as an honest seller I'll make sure you're satisfied. I'll provide contact info and additional photos on request and you're welcome to speak with me personally with any questions you may have about this item.
Sales are final unless the description is inaccurate or the item isn't fully functional as described; approved returns are less shipping and packing costs both ways. CONUS, AK, HI, and US territories only.
