Takahashi Mewlon 250 OTA and Accessories

I have for sale a Takahashi Mewlon 250 optical tube. Purchased by me new in 2002, this scope has been used only in my backyard observatory, primarily for planetary viewing and imaging. As is typical of these scopes, the images are superb and of very high contrast provided the scope is well collimated and the seeing is good. This scope holds collimation very well. Focusing is via a very smooth variable-speed electric focuser on the secondary mirror with NO image shift. A metal cover can be removed from the back of the scope to allow for rapid cool-down of the primary mirror. The built-in 7X50 finder is of exceptional quality and doubles as a handle.
This scope has just returned from Texas Nautical Repair Co. (who is the sole importer of Takahashi telescopes in the U.S., as well as the only factory-authorized service center), where it was inspected, received a professional touch up of paint on the interior of the tube and was collimated. They also checked out a couple of water marks visible at the very edge of the primary (that appeared only after a string of really dewy summer nights) and confirmed they that are only cosmetic and have no impact at all on the fine images this scope produces. I mention these items only in the interest of full disclosure. This scope has been well used but also well taken care of and is in perfect working order. Cosmetically, I can find only one small rub mark in the paint (see photo below), otherwise the tube looks as new with no dents or paint chips.
The tube assembly comes with all standard accessories including the magnetic tube weight, 2-inch visual back, 1.25-inch compression ring adapter, electric focus controller, unique dovetail mounting plate and mounting shoe, dust caps for tube and finder, instructions, and original certificate of inspection from the factory. I will also include the following optional items: illuminator for the finderscope (that actually gets dim enough to be useful under dark skies), Takahashi hockey puck adapter for mounting the Mewlon on a Losmandy dovetail plate, and a Losmandy dovetail plate, all in excellent condition.
My asking price for all of these items is $4300. Buyer to pay all shipping expenses, and Ill ship the OTA in the original triple-boxed shipping container. Texas Nautical recommends that these scopes be shipped via insured 2nd day air, so please be advised that shipping for this scope likely will be upwards of $200 if you choose to go with that shipping option. I also have the following additional accessories I am willing to sell. My intention is to offer the purchaser of the OTA first refusal on these items, but will sell them separately after the OTA sells.
1) ScopeGuard Case in good condition... $200, but Im willing to include this item with the Mewlon OTA above at no extra charge if the buyer is willing to pay shipping on it.
2) Takahashi Cassegrain Focuser in like new condition with 2-inch and 1.25-inch adapters and extra mounting ring... $390
