_ Complete University Optics mirror grinding kit from the late 1960's. Kit includes two 6" Pyrex
molded blanks, all abrasives (apparently never opened), 1 pound of pitch, shaker bottles, water
bottle, and sponge. This will give results comparable to a new kit costing $85 [or if you want to
start an ATM museum, here's one of your displays.. ;-) ].
_ If you want to make 2 mirrors, I can supply you with a used 6" x 1" plate glass tool, which is
chipped, but not badly enough to matter on a tool, for an extra $5. I can also include extra #80
and #120 silicon carbide at $3 per half pound. These will add a bit to total shipping costs. Let
me know what you need.
_ Shipping weight for the basic kit is about 12 lb. I am in upstate New York; approximate costs
to the east coast would be $10, central US $14, west coast $22. Email with your Zipcode for an
exact number.
