If you’re looking for a truly special 10" mirror, this one deserves your attention.

I’ve just completed a 10" F/6.34 premium telescope mirror, fully figured and carefully tested here in my Chandler, AZ shop. This mirror was taken all the way to a smooth, high-accuracy finish with the goal of delivering exactly what serious observers value most: tight stars, excellent contrast, and a calm, clean image at the eyepiece. This focal length would make an excellent planetary telescope for suburban observers.

This is not a production mirror. It represents many hours of polishing, figuring and repeated testing to reach a refined optical surface — the same care and standards I apply to much larger professional optics.

Optical Quality & Documentation

Full test results are included, and they speak for themselves. This mirror shows excellent peak-to-valley performance and a strong Strehl, confirming the smoothness and precision of the figure.

The mirror is scheduled to go to the coating company in the next few days, which means a nice bonus for the buyer: it can ship directly from the coater to you, saving time and extra handling.

Why This Mirror?

If you’ve been waiting for a finished, ready-to-go premium 10" mirror — without a long lead time — this is a great opportunity. It’s an aperture and focal ratio that excels visually and is a joy to observe with, and it’s been built to provide many years of outstanding performance under the stars.

I’m confident the new owner will be very pleased with this mirror.

Thanks for looking, and feel free to reach out with any questions.
