Thank you for checking out my ad. I'm selling my Celestron NexStar 5SE telsecope along with accessories worth over $800. I'm parting with it because I've upgraded my gear and want to see it go to someone who will actually use it.
I bought the telescope new from B&H Photo Video in October 2019 and have used it frequently since then. My family and I have used it to observe the moon, planets, star clusters, and bright galaxies. Suffice it to say, this is a well loved instrument, not one that has been sitting in a closet. Nevertheless, it has been well cared for and the optics are in pristine condition.
When I started with astrophotography, I removed the 5SE logo plate from the side of the dovetail to better balance the telescope; however, the plate is included in the box and could be glued back into place.
