I am moving the optics of my f/5 Discovery 12.5" PDHQ dob into a truss frame. Everything else is for sale as a complete unit. Just add your primary and secondary for a complete scope.
For $300 it includes everything on a stock PDHQ from Discovery
- rocker box, tube & side bearings
- primary mirror cell
- spider & secondary holder(prewired for dewheater)
- 2" JMI focuser (DX3 I believe)
Plus these Upgrades:
- Telrad base
- all bearings have been replaced with Teflon
- Tube is flocked
- primary mirror stray light blocker
- tube extension stray light blocker
- push/pull handle added
The motions on this scope are very smooth in both axis since the upgrade. All parts are in excellent condition. I will not be shipping this package. I am looking for a buyer that will pick it up or meet me within a two hour drive of Philadelphia, PA. This is only being offered as a package right now. I will not split it up unless I have too further down the road. I can e-mail photos to anyone interested.
