This is a unique travel 12” travel Dob from LiteScope based in Germany. The entire system weighs 31 pounds and fits in a 16 x 24 x 10 suit case with roller wheels. You can check this on any airplain and go anywhere in the world. With the telescope in the suitcase there is still plenty of room for lots of clothes and eye pieces. Alternatively, the whole system can fit in a standard back back and you can carry it on a plane for ride a bike to your favorite dark sky spot. It is a NCLT MOUNTAIN Litescope with an 12inch F/4mirror (GSO BK7 1/16 Lambda RMS 94% ) in pristine condition The system is a carbon coremat Sandwich which includes a Helical Focuser, adjustable Iris system, Improved bungee system, shock reducing lightweight polyamide tripod feet, three positions of the Carbon secondary cage (new design), Dew Shield, Water ballast bags with funnel and Carbon Washer, Pro Bolt Aluminium fasteners blue, IGUS Roller bearings. It also has a red dot finder and I have added a 9 x 50 StellarVue RAIC finder shown in the photo. Assembly takes about 10 minutes once you are familiar with it. The scope stands 46” high when assembled. I wrote a review on a similar scope in 2010 (). The scope is essentially new condition and has only been used couple of times. I am selling because I have a 16” version of the same scope. Add 3% for Paypal purchase.
