I bought this just over 2 months ago. I originally upgraded from an SkyQuest XT6. It definatly a light bucket. I've seen a huge difference over the XT6. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this scope, the eyepieces, or mirrors! I love the scope. In fact, it's depressing me to get rid of it. It delivers excellent views even in Chicago.
The only reason I'm selling it is because I'm going out West this summer. My wife says there's no way I'm taking this with a 8 month old baby on the plane. I'm ready to buy something more portable, atleast until I buy a house.
If you've done your homework, you know this is a great scope. My firm price is $440 including shipping. You'll pay $510 for a new one from Orion.
