Selling my Orion XT12g Go-To Dobsonian 12" solid tube in good working condition due to lack of use and inconvenience. I acquired it earlier this year and made several upgrades to the scope, added lockable rolling wheels, installed handles, and replaced orignal screws with thumb screws for easy setup and take down in the field. Original finder, hand controller, power supply included.
The original owner had it for about 10 years and some signs of use show, including some rust on the hardware, scratched on the OTA, and the hand controller holder plastic piece is broken. However, the optics are excellent, and the Go-To function works really well. I really enjoyed using this if not for the size and portability issues, and thus have reverted back to my SCT as primary visual scope.
Selling at $849, less than 1/3 the price of one brand new. I don't have any method of transporting or shipping this so it'll have to be a pickup in San Leandro, CA. Cash or PayPal F&F.
