Vixen R200SS and GP/DX w/ drives **SOLD**

[SIZE="Large"][COLOR="Red"]Perfect for astrophotography or wide-field visual use.[/COLOR][/SIZE] I'm selling my 8" f4 Vixen R200SS and GP-DX mount with dual axis drives and DD1 drive controller. The OTA was purchased in 2001 when Orion still sold Vixen equipment (That's why the scope says Orion on it). The scope was purchased through Orion as an open box special because it had a very small ding in the tube. The ding is so small that it can barely be seen, as shown in one of the photos. The mount was purchased at the same time and if you look closely, it says manufactured by Vixen and sold by Orion. The setup is very stable yet very portable. The scope gives fantastic wide-field views, but gathers enough light to be a formidable deep-sky scope. I have been out of astronomy for the past 5 years and this setup has been stored in a climate-controlled workshop. This setup shows very little use, the mirror is very high quality with little to no dust, has never been cleaned or touched, and is free from any defects. The mount/tripod/drives have been very well taken care of and show little signs of use. The mount/drives are very well-made (as is all Vixen equipment) and is well suited for visual or astrophotography uses. The setup includes:

Illuminated polar scope
Dual axis drives with DD1 drive controller
Coma corrector that screws into the 2" eyepiece connector
1 1/4" eyepiece adapter
Celestron 9x50 finderscope

Comes with all factory supplied dust caps and focuser covers. Mirror came cat's-eye center spotted from Vixen.

This whole setup cost >$2500, so, all reasonable offers >$1200 will be considered. I would prefer to sell this whole setup as a package, but I would entertain the possibility of splitting it up.
