10” LX200GPS-SMT (F10) with extras

I am  selling my 10” LX200GPS-SMT (F10), tripod, custom hard case and many accessories. I
purchased the telescope new in 2004, however, it has spent most of its life in a custom case in our
house and in a controlled temperature environment. It’s only been used a hand full of time, so it’s like
new. The optics are perfect with no scratches on the primary mirror (it’s never been touched by
human hands and there’s always been a cover on it when not in use).

I’ve recently performed a Two-Star Alignment, and it was very accurate for just a 2 datapoint model.
After the alignment, I was able to search and slew to Saturn and have the object in the field of view
using a 50mm eyepiece. The simple “Smart Mount” alignment gets you in the ballpark, however, the
Two-Star alignment works much better. The SMT feature is to get beginners started with a very
simple alignment, however, with more experienced astronomers, the Two-Star alignment is the way to
go, and much more accurate.

There are too many accessories to list in this description, so I’ve put together a spreadsheet listing all
the items that come with the telescope sale. As with the telescope, all of the accessories were
purchased new by me and all are in good condition.

Full disclosure:  on the tripod, one of the three ¼” bolts that tighten down the tripod legs was at some point lost
and had to be replaced, so as a result, the knob part of the bolt looks different compared to the other two,
however, it functions the exactly the same. Besides that, there are no other issues with the telescope or any of
the accessories.
