Hi all -
I have an open truss refractor for sale. It comes with a 150mm f/8 Istar lens in adjustable saddle, Baader DERF with iris, Tech-Sky focuser, and losmandy style plate. It weighs a total of 25 pounds, and is easily carried and mounted thanks to the open architecture of the body. It is in excellent condition.
The telescope is presently set up for solar work, but works equally well for deep sky astrophotography. I'm asking $4000 for the telescope as is, but will lower the price to $3000 if you don't have need of the Baader solar filter (a $2500 item in and of itself).
