The Takahashi 645 0.99x flattener utilizes a doublet lens design with fully multi-coated lenses to maintain well correct images on all compatible telescopes—up to a 60 mm image circle! Designed specifically for the Takahashi 150B refractors—whether you’re using a smaller, full-frame or medium-format sensor, this flattener delivers clean, well-corrected images from the center all the way to the edges. Even with modern cameras that use very small pixels, stars remain tight and well-defined across the entire frame.
This set includes the parts needed for an effortless attachment! The ring adapter has a male M72 threads on the telescope side, and M54 on the camera side. It can ALSO be used with the TOA-130NFB, but on the TOA-130NS as well! ( YOU WILL NEED A DIFFERENT EXTENSION TUBE - L ) This adapter lets you connect your camera in two ways. With the adapter ring, it uses an M54 thread and positions the camera 56.2 mm from the focuser. Remove the ring, and it fits a female M72 thread, moving the camera slightly farther back to 73.9 mm, ensuring proper focus with different setups.
NOTE: This 645 flattener is the same for the TOA 130 and 150. Only the extension tube differs. This version of the extension tube is specifically for the TOA 150. You can however get this and use it with your TOA 130, but will need the L extension tube.
